Lynda Barry
Written by denise on October 29, 2008 – 7:27 pm -This weekend I had the privilege of seeing cartoonist, Lynda Barry, speak at the International Festival of Authors at the Harbourfront Centre in Toronto. Lynda spoke about her latest book, “What It Is”, which discusses the process of creative writing and making great stories.
The book consists of tidbits of Lynda’s early artistic experiences, alongside chapters of hard-to-answer questions that force the reader to think outside the box. The book may be inspiring to anyone who wants to make comics, narrative art or any type of creative art.
